Strawberry Coriander Syrup
Used in Iced Strawberry Latte (see Pacific's Recipes page for recipe)
Ingredients
- 1 pint strawberries
- 7 oz sugar (see Pacific's Recipes page for recipe)
- 1/2 oz coriander
- 1/2 oz "pink" peppercorn
- 14 oz hot water
Instructions
Step 1
Add sugar and strawberries to the storing container, muddle together, and then let sit for 20 minutes.Step 2
In a spice grinder coarsely grind the coriander and pink peppercorn by pulsing it and then add to the sugar mixture.Step 3
Add boiling water to the sugar mixture, stir to dissolve, and allow to cool.Step 4
Let sit overnight and then strain through a fine mesh strainer pressing to remove liquids.Step 5
Refrigerate and write date on storage container. Good for seven days.Step 6
Shake the bottle before use.
