Sassafras Vanilla Syrup
Used in Root Beer Cold Brew (see Pacific's Recipes page for recipe)
Ingredients
- 14 oz raw sugar
- 13 1/2 oz water
- 1/2 oz vanilla extract
- 1/2 oz sassafras root
Instructions
Step 1
In a bowl, add sugar, vanilla, and sassafras.Step 2
Add boiling water to the bowl.Step 3
Whisk until sugar is dissolved and cool.Step 4
Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a storage container.Step 5
Refrigerate and write date on storage container. Good for seven days.
