Matcha or Hojicha Concentrate
Makes 42 servings of 12 oz. beverages
- 6 tsp teaspoons of unsweetened matcha or hojicha powder For best results, use fresh matcha. Ideally the concentrate should be deep jade green. Whether culinary grade or ceremonial grade, fresh matcha will be more vibrant in color and flavor.
- 18 oz ambient water
Step 1Place ambient water into blender carafe.
Step 2Add matcha or hojicha powder.
Step 3Blend on low speed until frothy and powder is incorporated.
Step 4Pour into an airtight bottle.
Step 5Shake well before use.
Step 6Keep refrigerated. Discard any unused tea concentrate at end of day.
Step 7Transfer into airtight container. Keep refrigerated for 3-5 days.
