Apple Cider Carmelo – Laila Ghambari
The recipe was developed by Laila Ghambari, owner of Guilder Coffee Company and 2014 United States Barista Champion.
Ingredients
- 40 grams Apple Cider Caramel
- 40 grams espresso
- 8 ounces Pacific Almond Milk
- Apple Cider Carmel Ingredients
- 4 cup Apple cider
- 3 cup brown sugar
- 2 cup Heavy cream
- 2 tsp salt
- 1.5 tbls cinnamon
- 1.5 tbls cardamom
- ½ tbls ginger
- ¼ cup Unsalted Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Make the apple cider carmel. Add cider and brown sugar to pot and reduce to half. Add spices and salt with butter and cream to the pot and simmer on low until silkyStep 2
Add 40 grams of apple cider caramel to the cupStep 3
Add double espresso & stirStep 4
Steam Pacific almond milkStep 5
Pour into cup with latte artStep 6
Top with cinnamon and an apple chip
