Seidy Selivanow
Seidy Selivanow is the Mexico-born and raised co-founder of Kafiex Roasters, an award-winning specialty coffee roastery based in Vancouver, Washington. With a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts and a deep-rooted passion for hospitality, Seidy brings a unique perspective to coffee through service, education, competition, and community.
As co-founder of Kafiex Roasters, named Micro Roaster of the Year 2026, Seidy has helped build a company focused on redefining people’s relationship with coffee. Her work spans café operations, barista training, wholesale education, and creating meaningful coffee experiences for both professionals and everyday coffee drinkers.
Seidy has been a top competitor in the United States Barista Championship for three consecutive years and became a USBC finalist in 2026. She is also a Coffee Fest educator, Level Up / Raise the Bar educator, Women-Powered Coffee Summit speaker and educator, Cup of Excellence Mexico volunteer and a Sprudge Twenty 2026 honoree.
Her approach to coffee is shaped by her culinary background, Mexican heritage, and belief that coffee is at its best when it is shared with intention, care, and hospitality. Through education, competition, and leadership, Seidy continues to inspire others to connect more deeply with coffee, culture, and the people behind every cup.
