Sassafras Vanilla Syrup
Used in Root Beer Cold Brew (see Pacific’s Recipes page for recipe)
Ingredients

raw sugar

water
1/2
oz
vanilla extract
1/2
oz
sassafras root
Instructions
In a bowl, add sugar, vanilla, and sassafras.
Add boiling water to the bowl.
Whisk until sugar is dissolved and cool.
Pour through a fine mesh strainer into a storage container.
Refrigerate and write date on storage container. Good for seven days.
