Apple Cider Carmelo – Laila Ghambari
The recipe was developed by Laila Ghambari, owner of Guilder Coffee Company and 2014 United States Barista Champion.
Ingredients
  • 40grams Apple Cider Caramel
  • 40grams espresso
  • 8ounces Pacific Almond Milk
Apple Cider Carmel Ingredients
  • 4cup Apple cider
  • 3cup brown sugar
  • 2cup Heavy cream
  • 2tsp salt
  • 1.5tbls cinnamon
  • 1.5tbls cardamom
  • ½tbls ginger
  • ¼cup Unsalted Butter
Instructions
  1. Make the apple cider carmel. Add cider and brown sugar to pot and reduce to half. Add spices and salt with butter and cream to the pot and simmer on low until silky
  2. Add 40 grams of apple cider caramel to the cup
  3. Add double espresso & stir
  4. Steam Pacific almond milk
  5. Pour into cup with latte art
  6. Top with cinnamon and an apple chip
