Ingredients

  • 2oz Bulleit Rye Whiskey
  • 3oz Barista Series Oat Plant-Based Beverage
  • 3/4oz Vanilla Simple Syrup-see instructions below
  • garnish with freshly grated nutmeg(optional)
Vanilla Simple Syrup
  • 1/2cup demerara sugar
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1 vanilla bean(split)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and top liquid volume with ice.
  2. Shake for approximately 40 seconds
  3. Double strain into rocks glass over a big ice cube. Or you can serve in a coupe glass without ice. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
Vanilla Simple Syrup
  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and steep for 1 hour.
  3. Strain and refrigerate. This syrup will keep for up to 7 days refrigerated.
